Paint & Wine

  • 20 Beaumount Street, Freeman's Bay

The Paint & Wine exhibition was Archives second collaborative community event. The night’s goal was to invite people together to collaborate on a shared 3-meter long canvas and provide a social space for artists to hang out. With an assortment of acrylic paints, brushes, water-colours and graffiti markers the canvas had grown into a full piece by the end of the night.

The interactive event was paired with cocktails, live music from Techniclr and was hosted at Auckland’s Symmetry Studio. If you would like to host a private event or would like to explore our options get in touch here.

Archive Vol. 1

14 SEPT 2019

  • 1/4 Cross Street Auckland CBD

Archive Vol. 1 was our entry as three Kiwi artists wanting to exhibit our hidden works and talents. The event title was called Archive as it proposed the theme of archival works which later stuck as our brand name for the group.

The three friends presented photography pieces, large graphic design work, and a curated fashion exhibit.

The night’s goal was to invite friends and any strangers coming by the street entrance to get together, appreciate some art, and build new connections. With a very low budget, everything was designed and curated by us including food and drinks. We handmade our stickers which have now been upgraded to vinyl and used the night as our first step to learning how to provide as a host for Auckland’s communities.
